I cant understand how people can like this movie. It makes the movie Sharktopus on SyFy look like a masterpiece.

I loved it...just depends on personal taste and style I suppose...

I wish I could take a poll of those who like and don't like the movie...

Id like to compare age, education, whether those who liked read books, vs those who don't...

Even to the type of food or meals those who like eat, compared to those who don't like...

Yes, the characters remained too undeveloped to connect with them and I was bored and impatient by the time the "Devil" was revealed.

Yawn...

Any project he's been associated with since the brilliant "Sixth Sense" has been a disappointment.

I heard it was filmed in Philly.

Makes sense!

I haven't seen the movie, but I know Philly!

How could anyone get 'bored' with the devil? (the movie that is)...

I mean short of Bruce Willace action scenes and bombs and explosions going off every minute, how could one get bored with this masterpiece.?

Again, it goes back to what movie goers are 'conditioned to'...

McDonalds, vs actually waiting around for 20 min at a fine resturant for the main course...

I found the pace just right, actually I wanted it to go a bit more slower...I like details, background, I like the who, what, why when and how, to be brought out in every film...

It was actually not bad. Just watched it last night. I liked that it didn't drag on and went by pretty quickly. Some of the parts were really creepy, especially towards the end. Those who had seen it will know which part in particular made me go: "ah "
After the movie, I had an uneasy feeling going to bed, I kept on thinking someone was walking around the house. I usually get like that after creepy movies as such.

Yeah, it was a fairly decent film. A nice morality story, horror movie with a positive slant - quite a rare breed. I didn't understand everything though - was it the devil killing the victims in the elevator, or did he/she just turn them against each other, and they attacked each other when the lights went out?
