Not a movie but a book - Nicola Tesla - found out the genious thought he was an alien from another planet. He also viewed himself as the ultimate science experiement and did some funky things to make himself more efficient. We can attribute electricity in our homes to him and his sucessors.

I enjoyed watching "The Messenger", but was annoyed at the portrayal of Joan of Arc as suffering from mental delusions.
