My mother in law keeps talking about this old movie she saw years ago and wants to see again. All she remembers is the movie took place in America and Paris and that a mans wife and daughter got kidnapped and years later he ends up meeting his daughter and doesnt know its his daughter, he falls in love with her and then later finds out its his missing daughter. Any suggestions?

That sounds right, but I thought I remember that having partially taken place in New Orleans or something. I think you are right, though. Good memory!!!!
