We do have Comcast, and I hate it, and I wish we would do something else.
This just encourages me even more to figure out an alternative and talk my husband into it.

No, not at all. The basic issue here is about net neutrality that the FCC has yet to decide. Big business want's no net neutrality so they can charge for, AND CONTROL ,all content they carry on their cable internet service.

They know that if there is net neutrality they will be forced to undercut their own TV business when people sign up for services like Netflix or Hulu Plus.

All I can say is all of us who use the internet for anything had better hope the net stays neutral or the Cable/telecoms companies will choke off our rights to use the internet freely.
