Pretty much every single film I go and see ( and like) is usually devoid of guns, explosions, violence and computer effects. In fact usually if it comes from Hollywood and has any of the above advertised in previews there is no way I will go and see it.

Foreign and Indie films for me mostly. I prefer good cinematography and a good script and that procludes a lot of the more populist movies. There are exceptions of course but they are far and few between. I don't get the attraction of most blockbusters I must admit. I think I must be dim because the appeal is one which truly does elude me.
