I am yet to ee The Blair Witch Project or the Exorcist, but I really need to!

And the reason I like Paranormal Activity is because it seemed so realistic, and I'll admit that while I was watching that movie, I wasn't that scared but when I got home and was alone, I flipped out! Slept with the lights on for a week

I'm one of these people that found 'Paranormal activity' the scariest film, I can totally understand why some people thought is it wasn't, I think it's more of a visceral thing, made by the familiarity of the domestic setting, I can watch blood and guts fly around all day and find it funny because it's not something I can truly connect with. It’s the unseen that gets me, and I easily revert back to that child like imagination of hearing things go bump in the night. I found the ‘Exorcist’ just a quality film that draws on all aspects of acting and film making from the ground up, and can happily watch it in awe but, I don’t think I’ll be watching ‘Paranormal activity’ again, even Spielberg found it terrifying.

The Exorcist. I saw it in the theater when I was around 14.

Paranormal Activity 2 was scarier then the first. Only because the movie is based on "true events" from what i've heard. And i mean come on a demon hunting your house. If you believe God, then you should know demon do exist. Read your bible. When God banished satan out of heaven, one third of God's angels follwed satan. Also its been said in the bible untill the end of times satan is prince of the air. so the stuff that happen in that movie could be true. Thats if you allow evil into your life.

The Exorcist, Children of the Corn, It (freaking clowns), Original Halloween. New scary movies just dont get it for me. Seems like I'm watching cartoons.

The exorcist. I put that in another post asking about scary movies. My grandpa saw it years ago at a drive in when it came out, and he said that he (for the first time in his life) was afraid to drive home alone. He said it felt like he had someone in the back of his car the whole ride home. I saw a show about the making of that movie too. I guess some people died making that movie which only makes it that much creepier. I guess they almost shut down production as a result of it. Most horror movies are cheesy, but ones that can be real, have the potential to scare the bejesus out of you. Not to jump on the bandwagon, but I also thought paranormal activity was not scary. Jaws wasn't scary to me, yet I won't go far in the ocean because of it. I figure why be in a giant tub with creatures (whales and sharks) that can eat you. I see no benefit in it for me.

I've always had a weird fear of clowns and this movie made it worse for me, even now when I'm around them, I get paranoid.

It
The Blair Witch Project
Disappearance (Lifetime movie)

Most others I've seen are more disturbing than scary.
