I usually use rottentomatoes.com to get reviews on movies. But, they have changed so that you can't separate the critics opinions from the users. I don't like that.

So, I'm looking for a new movie reviews site. Anyone care to make a suggestion?

don't use imdb.
it's either kids or people who over analyze movies and think they are critics lol

i watch movies for entertainment - i don't want it picked apart by people who think they are directors, sound men, editors, etc

I usually use netflix for alot of reviews and even then i tend to go on my own for a movie

rottentomatoes has quirks.

1. They often overrate artsy, boring dramas. So anything limit release -20% immediately.

2. They often underrate comedies and blockbusters. So +10% on those genres.

I'm puzzled. I clearly see the ratings separated, critics vs. audience.

I also watch movies for entertainment...otherwise...I'll never watch another movie ever again.

Reviews are done by people whose individual preference becomes the measuring rod...just like everybody else. What I do is read the synopsis, then go from there.

I can't find it. I see the audience "liked it" thingy.

I can't find the audience reviews. There use to be a way to see a ratings and reviews just by the audience. I don't look at critic reviews just audience reviews.
