The very first one was Animal Farm, the British animated film from 1954. When they took the horse away, that was.

Forgot the classic "Of Mice And Men". After reading the book and watching the movie I could never again laugh at those old cartoons that parody the two main characters. Don't know how they could take such a sad tale and make comedy from it like that.

Old Yeller. I'm still a sucker for big yellow dogs, in fact, one's snoring at my side as I type this.

I don't remember the first time a movie made me cry. But I do remember the movie that made me cry the hardest, "The Stepmom" with Julia Roberts and Susan Sarandon......it actually put me in a funk for a day or two

Also, "Marley and Me".....omg at the end that dog looked just like our 15yr yellow lab (we lost him last veterans day), I couldn't even watch the screen because if I did I would've started with the loud and obnoxious crying.
