if for you a movie is interesting when the character needs to hold a gun to justify the story then don't bother...

and wait for the new Tarantino

but if you think that the essence of life can be captured...that there's a deeper side to our human nature...then run to see it...it will be one of the most meaningfull film you will see in a long time...as well as a great cinematic experience...

I just came from seeing this movie and I didn't care for it at all. In fact Im surprised I didn't walk out as some moviegoers did. One woman left within 15 minutes. Still for those that like this type of film and Im sure there are, then I suppose it has some good qualities.

I thought I was going to see a drama about a family with 3 kids set in the 1950's. Well it is but the film is like watching a fantasy dream like setting. There really isn't much dialogue and Sean Penn is barely in the film. No I didn't care for the film and I'm sorry I wasted the money. For those that are not sure about seeing it, then I would make sure you understand what type of film this is. Because its not your average movie thats for sure.
