I Really hope this film flops at the box office, because this is a mess.

and a pure disgrace to the creator name peyo and to the producers who made the cartoon so special in the 80's

The movie does look awful. But Miamifloridafan, I have to admit I'm a bit baffled by your passionate hatred of a movie that hasn't even come out yet. What gives?

I never liked the cartoon either, even as a kid, so this movie is double-barreled "no thanks" for me.

Hollywood has NEVER been original. The question is not originality, but quality. And yeah, the quality has gotten pretty poor over the past several years.

Why do we need this smurfs movie?

I Actually love the cartoon, it was pretty funny and special, but this movie is gonna be so truly dreadful, it's a sad shame.

Am I the only one who thinks the Smurfs movie is going to be fantastic? Smurfs in the Big Apple? Neil Patrick Harris as regular guy who meets the smurf to have a hilarious, obligatory fainting scene? Hank Azaria as Gargamel? Freakin' genuis!

KIDDING. This movie will be an epic fail, I'm sure. Unfortunately, I fear it will not be the worst movie of the 21st century... the way we're going, I think we might look back in this one in 10 years as one of the better POS movies that was made in the teens.
