That's easy..."Shag". Takes place in the 60's at Myrtle Beach. One of the sweetest movies ever. GREAT soundtrack of music from the 60's.

Also love "Two Lane Blacktop." Great reminder of thr era of the Muscle Car.

Best of all....."American Grafiti." Cruising the streets of St. Louis in the best cars Detroit ever turned out. Racing all night long on just a couple bucks of gas. It was only about 32cents a gallon. The 8 track blaring "The Rascals," "Tommy James & The Shondells," "The Beach Boys." I could go on and on.

The 60's. Now that was my era. Best cars, best music and cutest boys ever.

A movie I love to watch - Hysterical Blindness. 2 girls living their 20's in the 1980's. I wasn't quite old enough to truly enjoy the 80's IN the 1980's (I was born in 1976), but I lived an 80's "lifestyle" from the late 80's well into the 90's. So seeing that movie reminds me of that.

LOL, I hope my post makes sense.

Toy Story

Although, I don't remember all my toys coming alive when I wasn't looking.
I used to be very obsessed with it, and pleaded for my parents to buy me like every single toy that was in the movie.

I'd go with "Sandlot". I didn't play baseball but watching it still took me back to that time. "Bad Seed" is nostalgic for me only because the movie's creepiness fascinated me so much. It was quite the bold subject matter for that time (a little girl who coldly killed a classmate and the family grounds keeper).

By the way, I want to respond to the poster who mentioned "I Remember Mama". I actually own a copy of that movie. I like old movies, and aside from being a good one all-around, it depicts "old San Francisco" quite well.

Now and Then. The clothes, the bikes, the boys, the seances, the music ... It was all there!

Stephen King and I are the same age and have the same music memories in common. The movie that really fits the bill is "Stand By Me" taken from his short story The Body.
