I honestly would have liked somebody to have done a three part six hour miniseries for TV on it. I think you could have completely done the whole story justice in that time frame and TV is just lacking special events these days. Plus there are many good TV actors who I'd like to see in some of the roles. A two part 5 hour movie is cutting it thin and you have to wait to see the ending.

loved LOTR and glad to here Jackson is making The Hobbit. My only request would be that he somehow sneak a couple of Led Zep snippets into the sound track such as the last few bars/lines of Misty Mountain Hop...

I really don't know.
