I said that is an inescapable part of every business involving trade with the general public, and nobody should be going into business with the assumption that it is an added burden that can somehow be avoided. It's like saying accounting or inventory or insurance or hiring or security or shipping/receiving or scheduling or safety are "making my work harder when I already had quite enough to do". If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen.

That is limited thinking and complete rubbish. It is ENTIRELY possible to design systems and technologies that avoid many common business problems so that simply don't occur. I have seen theatres where the architect solved the movie hopping problem by forcing patrons to exit through a vomitorium rather than the lobby and entrance. We had armored car pickup in many locations so that the managers wouldn't get mugged on the way to the bank. Would you say that managers who got mugged and complained should just "get out of the kitchen" and that it was an added burden that couldn't be avoided?
Sorry, but your statement is indefensible, and you are just digging a deeper hole for yourself. It is entirely possible you will catch me up on saying something that doesn't make sense. This isn't one of those times.
