[i]SYNOPSIS: [i]Based on director (Sijie Dai) autobiographical novel, it takes place in Maoist China during the Cultural Revolution. This nostalgic coming-of-age drama follows two young men, Luo (Kun Chen) and Ma (Ye Liu), who are sent to a remote village to be "re-educated" and cleansed of non-Communist influences.
While they are there, they both fall for a beauty Xun Zhou, which they both try to win her heart using a secreted stash of Forbidden "Western Literature" as the lure (bait).

It was a pretty good movie although I thought the ending could have been done better.
