Lot of people upset about this. Last I read they hadn't said what it was actually going to be about or even wiether it was a prequel or a sequel

I just hope with the same director it will have the same look and feel as the original....

So hopefully by 2035 we'll have Blade Runner II: The Final Cut.

Default No! No! No!

This is a classic that should be left alone. A true work of cinematic art.

Let the sequel wash away..."Like tears in the rain."

Why doesn't Ridley Scott just make a completely different movie set in the future?!

I am so sick of Hollywood's inability to come up with new ideas and/or making movies to simply make $$; they now have -1000 artistic integrity.

The original was perfect; this new film will be just as like the Star Wars prequels in relation to the originals: too many special effects and CGI coupled with a story and actors that can't even compare to the original. I will not be seeing this prequel/sequel/junkel...

The original is/was an amazing movie, the story, cast, directing and cinematography was simply brilliant. The acting of Rutger Hauer, Sean Young, Daryl Hannah, Edward James Olmos and especially William Sanderson, oh man, what a visual treat!

I know what DVD I will be watching later on tonight!

It's almost 2015 and we still don't have flying cars and replicants

Exactly. All I could think of is why is Ridley doing this?

I'm hopeful but not optimistic.

Hopeful because Blade Runner is one of my favorite movies, and if anyone is going to touch the story, it should be Ridley Scott.

Not optimistic because the last Ridley Scott movie I really liked was Blade Runner. The guy seems to have lost his mojo.
