Watching Children of Men last, the car scene where something happens to Julianne Moore's character (don't want to ruin it for people who haven't seen it) for me was such a "**** just got real!".
What are some other movies or scenes that you have watched that made you think or say that? Maybe not exactly those words but simialr types of emotions.
First thing that comes to mind is the tv show the walking dead, episode 4.

The entire movie "Requiem for a Dream." One big eye opener to the dangerous and deadly things one will do for a fix. It is beyond my realm of understanding because I've never been an addict, but the movie helped me sympathize a tiny bit.

Requiem for a Dream should be shown to all high school students. Actually even younger maybe 7th and 8th graders. It will really make many rethink if they want to start doing drugs.
