After falling in love with a small fishing village in Scotland, Mac returns home to Houston, Texas. Nothing dramatic happens, but coupled with Marc Knopfler's music, the scene overflows with poignance.
I was watching your Rutger Hauer clip, and thinking that I would go find clips from one of my favorite all-time movies, Local Hero, when I glanced down and saw your next clip!
Here's another. Mac, the totally corporate oil man, completely changed after falling in love with said fishing village mentioned above, and Gordon, proprietor of the village hotel and pub and significant other of Stella, have a drunken heart-to-heart:
I cant post a clip but I think the final scene from Dirty Dancing was great. When Baby finally does the leap into his arms was like her finally breaking out of her shell [ and her dads clinging] and becoming her own self. Also, there really isnt anything pretty about Jennifer Grey at that age. Yet something about her was so damn sexy!
