There were lots of great scenes of Michael Moriarty in "Q: The Winged Serpent"---a terrible B movie in which Moriarty was exquisite as a street-smart misfit who discovers a monster in the steeple of the Chrysler Building. A must-see picture. This is the only clip on YouTube:

Woah, you can see that he's really living and breathing his role. Looks like a fabulous actor. I don't think I've ever seen one of his films. My curiosity is peaked
The movie came out after the series ended(Twin Peaks 1990-91)and is considered a prequel to the series. It's highly recommeded to see the series first to get the most out of this one. For David Lynch fans both the series and the movie are a must see.

EDIT: That movie has one of the scariest scenes I have ever witnessed - Laura & Bob - *chills*
