How does he shave his beard? No razor on earth is sharp enough to cut Superman's hair

They may use a version of this.........

John Byrne came up with this very clever way of shaving.....and it makes sense.

In the Golden and Silver Age of comics 30's-70's .. His hair didn't grow under earth's yellow sun.

Aside from using his heat vision, he could use a kryptonite tipped razor or even lock himself in a dark room and use a 'Red Sun' lamp.
(Supe's has no powers under red suns)

No one grew beards in the golden age........It was only in more modern day stories that started showing heroes in a more realistic light.

I would more likey go & see it IF they put Doomsday in it to kick his pansy arse! If nothing else it's got a good very supporting cast.

The trailer looks great. Really makes me want to see the movie. That being said ...

Superman has one of the greatest origin stories of any super hero. This movie looks like it's covering that. After ... well, Superman isn't really all that interesting. The comics just keep stacking him against stronger and stronger villains. It's little more than endless fistfights. That gets old quick.

So if Supes is going to keep making movies, what are they going to do to keep Superman himself interesting?

Even the Batman films, good as they were, suffered from this. After Batman Begins, Bruce/Bats wasn't really all that interesting. It was all about the villains.

Anything with Henry Cavill gets my money.

And that's all I have to say about that.

You are definitely in the minority on the Batman part......
Superman however, you are spot on. But I think that's why this movie digging more into the Man "first" then the "Super".

Conflict with mankind....never made sense that the public "immediately" trusted a stranger that had the power to destroy them if he got ticked off. So I see some tension in the trailer between him and the military. Nice.....

I've been a DC comics fan since a child, since the Superfriends with Wendy & Marvin. DC needs this to be a great movie. Batman did well, Green Lantern was ok, Superman is surely needed. Glad they are using General Zod, but where is Lex?
