Planes, Trains and Automobiles

I always thought it was funny because it's about traveling, which I have done a lot of since I was young. It's become funnier recently because I had a friend who is much like Del Griffeth (John Candy's character).

In terms of side-splitting laugh out loud kind of funny (as opposed to dry humor/wit), these are a few that come to mind...

Up in Smoke
The Blues Brothers
Arthur (1981)
Happy Gilmore
The Jerk
Step-Brothers
The Nutty Professor (1996)

I think this movie has some of the funniest scenes ever. Made me cry from laughing so hard.
