Great movie although honestly I don't think anyone should see it for the first time on TV - it really needs to be seen on the big screen in a darkened theater

I first saw it on a big screen--it had not yet been released to television. I was disappointed, because I'd read the book first and so much was missing. Over time, I've learned to appreciate the movie for itself.

I completely agree about seeing it for the first time in a theater. I saw it in a theater for the third time last year, and it's really a great experience.
