Anyone been to the show?
Thoughts on how it will translate to the big screen?

I'll bite. I've seen it on Broadway 3x.

The story has been changed for the big screen. It appears a Tipper Gore PMRC group is trying to shut down the Bourbon Room as opposed to rich European investors looking to bulldoze the Sunset Strip to erect Foot Lockers. Will they line, "I'm not gay...I'm German!" make it to the big screen? Doubtful.

Jarvis Mitchell (Keith Stone on Keystone Beer commercials) who played Lonny the narrator, can't be replaced in that role. All three times he was funny, manic, energetic -- the audience couldn't wait for more. Russell Brand, while manic, would make a much better Stacie Jaxx, lead singer of the band 'Arsenal'. Tom Cruise in the role? NO WAY!

Part of the appeal of RoA live was the fact that the audience was brought into the show by the cast. You were in the Bourbon Room rocking out and Lonny made sure you were there with him. Will the Michigan and Arby's jokes be included? Will the surprise romance take place between two cast members?

I will go check it out and will be pleasantly surprised if this translates well to the big screen.
