This is, IMO the best ever opening scene of any movie ever made.

Seriously? I don't find anything particularly special of that scene.

I think Scream, as far as horror movies go has one of the best opening scenes.

The Dark Knight when seen in real IMAX for the first time was pretty impressive. Total black screen suddenly switched to a huge city scene. Really felt like you were flying around in the helicopter they probably used to film it.

Apocalypse Now was pretty badass, too.

The opening scene to the old western Duel at Diablo is one of my all time favorites. As James Garner saves a woman from an Indian attack, the camera pulls back in a helicopter shot as they ride into the desert and the opening credits roll.
