Gotta go with my local fav, The Music Box. Straight outta a David Lynch film that place is. Plus you get live organ music on the weekends.

Tons of awesome old and new art flicks and always fun midnight showings. Its a good thing I dont live to close otherwise Id be there every night.

That looks like such a cool place!!...love the pics!
I really enjoy the independent and some foreign films.


I did a little searching around...I love finding out the history of places.
It's kind of a hobby of sorts.

It was built in 1929.
They have midnight movies...that's awesome!....Rocky Horror...flashback, big time!...lol...and Purple Rain...
I wanna go to Chicago!!

The music box is cool, haven't been there in a while.
I like the arcada in st. charles, too bad they couldn't make a run of it showing movies, we always went there for that. No one went there though - the public likes the megaplexes instead. But they are into showing live entertainment shows now, which is nice too.

ive never been there, but the Oriental Theatre in Milwaukee is supposed to be awesome. kind of a Music Box on steroids
