Who is going to go see the Hunger Games? We all know this is more than just a teen book/movie, even though that is who the novel originally was intended to.

I will probably go see it. I read the book, and while I thought the plot was solid, the writing style/writing in general was ok. I would give it a 7/10. However, I am hoping the movie will be pretty interesting. It was be interesting to see this movie on the big screen.

I don't plan on reading the rest of the trilogy, but will see the next two films if this first one is solid.

I read the first book, not a huge fan of it. I expected it to be better after seeing how much popularity the book has. I think it will be more for the twilight fans than it will for a general audience, so Ill wait until it hits dvd or atleast gets some good reviews.

I have read the books and quite enjoyed them, so I bought my ticket last week to see it the Saturday of opening weekend.

I admit I'm looking forward to the big screen adaptation (but in general I try not to have too high hopes in fear of disappointment).

I expected the first book to be better too. I thought the plot was interesting (enough for me to read the whole book) but I did not like the writing style, and I will admit some of the romance stuff had me skipping pages. I have heard that next two books aren't as good which is why I am not going to read them. I just don't like the author's writing style.

I'll catch the DVD. I wasn't terribly impressed with the book.

I have never read the books, And love Sci-fi. I want to see it and read what it is about as far as the main story. I hope I am not lost in the theater.

They arent science fiction. They are set in the future but it is a dystopian society, not very futuristic or sci-fi setting.

The books are short enough that they should be able to cover most everything. If i were you, I would read the books. I read all three in six days, they are easy reads and you wont want to put them down. I didnt even want to put them down the second time I read them.
