YOUR LIFE PARALLELED BY A MOVIE or MOVIES
It's happened to myself in many many movies, a few books, and I'm not even gonna bring up songs at the moment. I will probably RE-VAMP this thread later, but right now, in feeling that this thread is so important for me to start for myself; my mind is totally drawing a blank, except for the love of my life and the movie SLIDING DOORS.

My sister told me I "HAD" to watch 'Under The Tuscan Sun" because it was like my own life story - that's about all I can think of. I have lived a fairly unconventional life so far so I'd have a hard time fitting into something commercial. This is a cool topic to discuss though, I am curious to see others' comments on it.

I dont know why but in a very small way, "Sleeping With The Enemy" seems to tie in with parts of my life.
Leaving an controlling, abusive relationship, though she had a very wealthy husband in Boston it wasnt worth her unhappiness, she leaves and moves to a small Iowa town, the part where she meets her new neighbour, a drama teacher who finds himself liking her a lot, (who ironically my friend in WI is STILL trying to hook me up with one she knows), a few other similarities....
Im gonna watch that movie again in awhile, in fact.

With me, it would have to be Barfly or Cuckoo's Nest. If I had to choose, it'd be Barfly. It had a much happier ending for me.

Trees Lounge. Not quite that bad, but some days it feels like it. Then there are days when I wish I could sit on a bar stool all day without a care on Earth except what my next drink order will be. Alas, life's obligations have other plans for me.
