What Makes A Movie Great?

I like all kinds of movies. I watch very quality, often foreign, surreal movies with deep meanings and classy acting by ordinary, lesser known actors playing the roles of simple folks, that make me look at life or some event (small or big) from an alternate viewpoint.....but I also like movies with alien robots blowing up large cities and bikini-clad chics kicking ass with machine guns...depending on my mood and what I am looking for, it's all gooooood !!

For me personally, its an action Movie with a very interesting Plot and a Movie where I really feel the same emotions that the Actors are trying to portray. A couple of Movies that really did it for me was : Titanic with Leo DeCaprio , The Gladiator with Russell Crowe , The Mechanic with Chas. Bronson . These Movies REALLY drew me in .

LOL --except I doubt either of those two fellows have ever been in or will be in a movie with a truly great story.
