Default Movies not available on DVD

It bugs me that some movies are still not available on DVD ....some classics movies like....1971's "Melody" ....it's available in Japan only (cult favorite in Japan) ....also 1970's "The Only Game In Town" ....also from 1970 "The Deep End" ....alot inferior older movies are available ...why not these ? ...same with the Beatles 1970 "Let it Be" movie ....I taped it off TV 20 years ago ...... though I heard it might be released on DVD soon ....can anyone think of other good films not currently out on DVD yet ?

My vote goes to "The Last Emperor". The film won the Best Picture Oscar, but is not available on DVD. At least not in a decent format. (A really crappy transfer was available for awhile. There are import versions still available).

"I sent a letter to my love" a simone signoret (english subtitled) film. Saw years ago, and it has not been on video or dvd ever to my knowledge. Really good angst-y movie.

That movie is never going to make it to DVD. Way too politically incorrect.

I have Blazing Saddles on DVD. One of the most politically incorrect movies, and a damn funny one, too.

Is that when the sister sent the love letters to her lonely, wheel chair bound brother? that was very good
