Default Actors You Like (Respect)

Since there was a thread where you named actors you hate (and I had quite a few), how about one for naming actors you like and whose work you admire. To keep it from being confusing, assume actors are NOT actresses.

These actors (eventually) demonstrated a broad range of talent:
Kevin Kline
Kevin Spacey
Morgan Freeman
Michael Douglas
Sean Connery (can do more than James Bond movies)
Michael Caine (his one "black eye" was "Blame It on Rio")
Richard Gere (morphed out of bad-boy mode - "Primal Fear" was excellent - you think he's an attorney and NOT Richard Gere)
John Travolta (morphed out of "Saturday Night Fever" mode, despite recent image problems)
Jack Nicholson (a little typecast as a curmudgeon or odd, but talented)
Roy Scheider
Sidney Poitier
Tom Berenger
Gregory Peck (an actor's actor)
Al Pacino
Robert DeNiro
William Hurt

Martin Sheen.

I respect him as an actor AND as a human being.

I don't much care for entertainers in general.

But I really do have a very warm spot for Lucille Ball, Michael J Fox, and Patrick Swayze.

Everyone else...meh.
