A few days ago, for the first time, I watched Contraband and very much enjoyed it. I knew nothing about it before watching it, but decided to give it a view irrespective because Mark Walhberg has a tendency to only star in good films. So then, I was wondering, is there anything he's done which is not generally considered to be a film worth watching?

The Happening is the first thing that came to mind.

Same here. I actually enjoyed the film, though it got ripped to shreds by critics.

I've never seen a bad Wahlberg movie. But I've never seen The Happening.

If you're a fan don't watch it then. Quite possibly the worst acting I've ever seen.

Max Payne and Planet of the Apes were pretty awful.

The Happening wasn't great, but it wasn't awful....Shamylan has far worse films.

Oo, yeah. Forgot about Burton's Planet of the Apes. That was pretty bad.

Not that Wahlberg was bad in it. He wasn't. Very rarely is a bad movie the fault of the actors.

I nominate "Four Brothers " from 2005. A turkey, bad on a number of levels.

Marky seems to like filming in Toronto, and this one was shot here. As usual, Toronto stands in for an American city, in this case, Detroit. Folks here in Toronto get a laugh out of picking out the on screen goofs, like having a Canada Post office letter box in the back ground, or a TTC street car passing the camera car. Or Canadian flags on a building.

Jim B.

Toronto.
