Ouch! Killing them softly wipes out right from the start. He's had some great films, Seems like this is his first starring role that bombed. Now it's up to World war Z to make up for it next year.

Personally, I didn't much like it, but I'm not sure the best way to be judging a movie is by its earnings. As it happens, it's getting overall very good reviews.

In my experience, the biggest earners tend most often to be crap.

I enjoy most of Pitt's work but KTS was awful. I wanted it to be good but it did not deliver.

is it not a good movie? or did people (who generally have a taste for shyte - see The Avengers earnings) just not go see it?

personally, i dont care how many lemmings show up to see a film. doesnt indicate whether its good or bad. bad box office sales does not = bad movie. good box office sales does not = good movie. money does not = art. every douche bag in America buying a ticket does not = me being entertained.

IMO, Brad Pitt may be a big star, but most of his movies aren't very good.
They usually bore me to death.
How does that work?

I usually like dialogue driven movies, but this one just fell flat. If it weren't for the fact that I was there with three other people, I would've gotten up and left. It's easily the worst movie I've seen in a theater this year.

Pitt hasn't made a good fun movie worth watching since "Ocean's 11".
