Man of Steel has a chance but I don't think any of those others will knock off Furious 6.

Just got back from seeing Man of Steel. Big but could cut a bit of the fighting, however there were some A Kicking, excuse me kick A, scenes worth every minute.

So, the big competition is between the 6th installment of a series and 6th remake of another movie?

Great!

I doubt Man of Steel is in the line for top contender, it's a great ride, but not so much a great superman movie, doesn't live up to the hype, but still worth ticket price over all if you enjoy sensory overload, which I mostly do, hence my positive review. For plot over all story, reviving, superman, epic fail.

Judging by the strong word-of-mouth score for Man Of Steel (Cinemascore respondents gave it an A), I wouldn't be surprised if it remains #1 this weekend ahead of both Wotld War Z & Monsters University.

However, catching F&F 6 is a pretty tall order.

If F&F6 ends up being the #1 movie of the summer, then I will finally give up hope on cinema.
