He had better not die. If he does, they'd better have another one reawaken somehow like the old movies. But the fact that Gareth Edwards said it was meant to be a stand-alone film makes me think he may die, or otherwise just be left on a mysterious cliffhanger.
He's actually considering a sequel or a spin-off of sorts if the movie turns out well with the audience and the box office.
Wow! Would not want to be caught in the middle of that one. Godzilla looks like he's been hitting the gym, I am sure he will beatdown that winged beastie.
The new monster is not Rodan, nor Mothra. It's a MUTO. Legendary couldn't afford to buy a Kaiju from Toho (not yet, anyways) besides Godzilla, so they made their own new ones.
I love the Godzilla movie and Godzilla is great and love the action, love the direction etc.
