I think he is a good choice. And I knew he was going to always be one of the possibilities. He has a good working relationship with Warner and was considered for the role in the past. Looking forward to his performance.

You know, if half the nerds cared half as much about reality as they do about who wears the Bat-tights, our country might not be in the shape it is now:

Ben Affleck is perfect for this role. Every good actor has a few crappy movies. He also looks like Batman: Arkham City's Bruce Wayne. He could bulk up and immerse himself in the legend of Bruce Wayne/Batman, by reading up on comics and information. He can undergo training and combat lessons. He should set out to prove detractors wrong. Come opening day, and by the time the first teaser/trailer comes out, every one will be excited and will be sucking up to him, like they have never doubted him.

Not too many other actors can claim they've played super hero's in multiple movies.... Affleck now has Batman to go along with him playing Daredevil.

I'm willing to give this a shot.... I mean come on, he HAS to be better than Val Kilmer and George Clooney, right???

My first thought was pretty much similar to many, WTH! But I hope he nails it, I really do. The only other performance I've enjoyed to date in the roll has been Keaton. Still, I enjoyed the last two movies in spite of the actors, so I'll see how it plays out on the screen, just bring back the bike.
