Good scary movies for younger teens?

These are not very scary, children can watch these movies.

I don't know, I started watching horror movies when I was young, younger than 12 & I didn't discriminate. I'm probably a bad judge of what's fine for a 12 year old because I kinda think any of them are fine, lol. I have to laugh at someone saying The Ring though, that movie haunted me for years after I watched it & I was in my 30's when I first saw it.

I agree I guess when we were kids we could handle a scary movie better then kids today.

A favorite of mine for mildly scary is "Goonies". Your Daughter may appreciate Kerri Green as the girl in the movie.
