This came to mind when watching a clip of Rocky 4 and thinking Dolph Lundgren would have been a great Thor. Brigitte Nielson would have made a great Black Widow since the original comic version started as a Russian spy. Big attitude Tony Stark/Iron Man could have been Richard Gere or Alec Baldwin. Since Nick Fury was a white guy back then, Clint Eastwood would have made a good Fury. Hawkeye could be just about anyone. They'd probably would have gotten 80s Eddie Murphy to play Falcon to add some comedy. Only one I can't figure out is Captain America. Any ideas?
The problem with Dolph and Brigitte is that they are both very physically imposing, neither can act. I've seen mannequins at the mall who are better at emoting.
I could see both Gere or Baldwin as Stark.
Captain America is tough. The only face I can see is Russell Crowe, and he was a 1990s actor, not 1980s.
Banner/Hulk ... Mel Gibson. He's actually quite good at playing vulnerable/crazy (see the first Lethal Weapon movie and Conspiracy Theory). And we all know what happens when Mel gets mad.

Scarlet Witch: Kate Cupsaw
Quicksilver: Sean Patrick Flanery
Even in the '80s Piper was too bulky for any heroes. Maybe Sabretooth? Or you could encase him in metal armor and make him Doctor Doom. It would be great to see Piper talkin trash to the FF as Doctor Doom.

I don't see the voice of "I was Rowdy, before Rowdy was cool" or "I came here to kick ass and chew bubble gum, and I'm all out of bubble-gum" as the dictator of Latveria. JUST SAYIN'
