While flipping through channels at my aunt's home yesterday, looking for a good Xmas film, I came across Yule Log. I'm not certain I'd recommend it, due to the plot progressing at a remarkably slow pace. And according to the program guide, it's at least a 6 hour film. I was wondering, however, if there's anybody here who's seen this film in its entirety and could tell me how it ends -- thanks.

Not much dialog but there was a great Christmas theme musical score. It was odd that the station didn't show the ending. They just went to other programing at the top of the hour.

LOVE the Yule Log, and watch for it every year! Mind you, though, there are several "remakes" that are not as good -- too flashy. I wonder, OP, if you saw the extended version with extra scenes? The version I saw was only 3 hours.

I think that this year was a sequel. The actors looked more wooden, and there was less spark.

Haha! Good one!

I used to always watch the WPIX (Channel 11) Yule Log for years. They finally stopped showing it, but people missed it.

I think it was shown on Antenna TV this year, which is owned by the company that owns WPIX - I think.

Here is the history of the Yule Log -- a New York area tradition!

Here is the one from 1983. It think it showed a lot of spark:

It was a good movie, but the main character was rather . . . wooden.
