I thought it was a good movie. A lot of emotion in it and based on a true story with the book same name as the movie. I think the author Hubert Shelby. The theme music fit the movie well. But it never got anywhere near a national viewing.

I cannot forget the scene when Jennifer Jason Leigh pulls a train in an alley on a dirty mattress. It was compelling, shocking, and heartbreaking.
