Return of The Jedi is set 30 years before the events of Star Wars 7 according to Disney chief executive officer Bob Iger. Other details are scanty, but the Star Wars 7 release date has also been set for December 18, 2015. Disney is also to be working on two prequels set before the events of Return Of The Jedi, including a Boba Fett movie and a Han Solo movie.
Please...someone make it all stop. They should have left SW alone. Those 3 following films were dreadful. One more Jar Jar Binks appearance and I am running off to Mexico.
30 years after Return of the Jedi? Well, it's been 30 actual years since the release of the movie so that probably means Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher will most likely show up

They have been rumored to have parts in the film. From what I hear, the only guaranteed retuning character is R2-D2.
I think they should release it in May like the previous movies, but they got to get that Christmas crowd.
Abrams’ ‘Episode VII’ will reportedly include original trilogy stars Carrie Fisher (2nd from l.), Mark Hamill (2nd from r.) and Harrison Ford (r.).
Instead the official line is that “(Episode VII) will star a trio of new young leads along with some very familiar faces.”
“Girls” actor Adam Driver has reportedly been tapped to play the film’s villain.
Directed by the most powerful geek in the known universe, J.J. Abrams, “Star Wars: Episode VII” is set to start filming in May at London’s Pinewood Studios.
I dunno, I think they should just let Star Wars die a quiet death.
Yeah, I used to think so too. But you know, each generation needs movies about saving the universe by destroying an evil empire while flying through space. And needs the opportunity to see this in theaters where it's 1000 times better. So I guess I support the new sequels if only for this reason.

Really? I thought the pain started long before that with Episode 6, too much of a kids movie, 4 and 5 had a more serious side, I dread what Disney is cookin up.
