I was trying to remember the name of that film....I remember watching it on PBS ( a very powerful
movie). Didn't realize that Kevin Costner was in it. Great acting by Jane Alexander.

I read what I wrote again, and can see how it wasn't clear at all what I meant by "I laughed."

I meant that I laughed because I had been watching the movie, forgetting that I was looking for Ketabcha's movie and thinking that it could not have been the movie he/she was seeking because there was no quote at the beginning. Then, suddenly, there was the quote (essentially) he/she had mentioned, and I realized that I had stumbled upon the movie after all. That was what made me laugh, not the quote or the movie.

I haven't seen it in years but remember it being really creepy and quite interesting If you're into post- apocalyptic scenario movies then it's definitely worth a watch.

On the Beach
Fail-Safe (the original)
Twilight's last gleaming
By Dawn's Early Light
The Bedford Incident

If you want to laugh at the same time: Dr. Strangelove How I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb.

You watch those, look at what is going on today and you gotta wonder.

We just had a NATO General saying that the Russians have a very credible force on the border of Ukraine and then says there is no evidence they have pulled back from the battlefield.

I can only wonder what battlefield he was referring to since there haven't been any battles...yet.
