Just saw the cast on IMDB and the short guy from Seinfeld is Splinter LOL!

Bolded is the biggest problem with this movie so far. Shredder is JAPANESE! Would it have killed them to get a Japanese guy for the role?

The trailer looked like Transformers with Turtles. Nothing really different from anything with Michael Bay in the credits (I know, he's only the producer. However, I'm sure he had heavy influence considering his name splashed everywhere like he's the director).

Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa

Ken Watanabe

plus add in Deep voiced voiceactor. But now we're just getting into emulating the original movies if this is the case.

I want to see a fresh take on everything. But I agree, he should be Japanese.

The teaser trailer looks good but I still want to see more before I am entirely gung-ho on it. Let me just say, I do like Mikey's lines from the trailer. Mikey is the light-heartedness of the Turtles. The real Turtles are a dark property similar to the look of the 1990's movies. This seems to be more of the dark style that can hopefully keep Mikey as the comic relief like it always has been and not sucker Donatello into it like the 1990's movies.
