Great to know you got to see The Raid 2. Hammer Girl & Baseball Bat boy tag-team scene was SICK. I am in anticipation of sequel. Director Gareth Evans wants a trilogy (mouth-watering) .

I think Brick Mansions is good way for David Belle to be re-introduced to movie fans. Having a family since District B13 may motivate him to boost parkour choreography into Hollywood. Statham can't rule forever!

I love this film, I have watched it many times and recently I have created a review of it.
The Raid 2: Berandal is arguably the most epic action movie in terms of intensity, action scenes and fight choreography.
I was totally blown away by the movie and I can hardly wait the third installment coming the next year.
I really wonder if anyone has watched a better action movie and if yes, which one it is and why do you think it is better than The Raid.

For pure and relentless action spectacle, I would say Drunken Master 2, Mad Max Fury Road, even Bad Boys 2 are in the vein of The Raid 2, although I'd hesitate to say that they're better. The Die Hard series (1 is the best, 3 arguably 2nd best) is almost pure action with little downtime, although slower paced than The Raid series.

Of course The Raid 1 is incredible (and probably the better movie, although not as much of an action epic as its sequel).

Totally agree. The movies that you mention deliver pure action spectacle and they are a must-see for every action moviegoer.
I personally consider the Raid 2 better than the first part in terms of action sequences and intensity.
