Agreed...would've been really cool to see more of the other planets and meet some of the other folks (or what was left of 'em). Ending was a bit much.

Still, overall, awesome movie.

That deep space stuff blows my mind. We know so little about what's way way out there

^^Takes us nine years to get to Saturn. We need to work on our speed. The vastness of space still blows my mind a bit.

Why didn't they hire a sound man to do the dialog?

Just saw it and really enjoyed it, even if it was a tad heavy-handed with the 'We Are Humanity' proselytizing. Matt Damon's cameo was a fun twist. Props to Nolan for hiring decent child actors who actually resemble the adults they eventually grow up to be. It's one of my pet peeves how rare we see this kind of attention to detail in movies.

Also, I wish directors would stop hiring pretty-little-thing actresses like Anne Hathway and Sandra Bullock as astronauts. These women are as believable as scientists as they would be playing Santa Claus. Come on now.

I have to go all the way back to Contact to find an actress who can believably play a scientist/astronaut.
