Big Trouble in Little China (7.3 IMDB) and The Goonies (7.8)....I would not classify as terrible.

I love Welcome to Woop Woop.
And the cult classic Suburbia, which has a 7.1 score on IMDM....but the beginning and ending are what makes it terrible...

I doubt either would be hits now. They are more cult classics. It's more nostalgia than truly good movies.

Killer Klowns from outer space (Classic!)

Cyborg (Bad guy catches fire for no reason, Villains dress like a 70's funk band.)

Child's Play. Chucky, the most notorious slasher.

I liked Welcome to the Dollhouse, thanks for remindin' me of it..

A movie that was considered a box office failure (both financially & critically), that I dug was Life Stinks (Mel Brooks). Saw it in the early 90s, went by myself, and was the only person up in there ()..
It's stayed with me tho'.

So far the best movie I love that is terrible is the 2007 transformers movie. Terrible movies but love the action.
The Terminator (1983) was supposed to be a terrible low budget flick but turned out to be a classic. Many of the early 80s movies were supposed to be bad but, turned out to be classics.

Me and you gotta party.

Agreed though...nostalgic flicks are always watchable.

I don't know if it's "terrible" but Beethoven came out long after I exited the target audience age range. I don't care though. That damn pooch cracks me up!

The Stranger (1973)

I wanted to use the duet scene of Stryker and Dr. Revere in my acting class.......but finally had to give into my partner who used a scene from a play he wrote.
