Post News, Blockbuster Hikes Prices For DVDs By Mail.

Dallas, Texas (AHN) - Blockbuster said Thursday it will raise prices on its popular DVDs-by-mail plan by up to $10, starting Dec. 27. Blockbuster's CEO recently said the online subscriptions were costing the company more than they are worth.

Blockbuster subscribers who getting unlimited free in-store exchanges will see a 40 percent hike in monthly prices. The option jumps from $24.99 to $34.99, according to the AP.

But I will pay it, gladly!!! After being a NetFlix custumer for 3+yrs. I am sadly disappointed with the price & availibility ratio.
I have to wait weeks for 'recent releases'...every single time, i.e. "Shrek 3" NFlix queue shows "long wait" after sitting around for 10 days? I JOINED BLOCKBUSTER....on the 2-at-a-time plan; got the Shrek3 movie IN TWO DAYS! Same thing has happened, I just typed in my queue from Netflix, over to Bbuster,,,,happy with the service (for now)

So, customer service is my thing; If you dont get it, take your business elsewhere.

If you dont like Bbuster? then try NetFlix? they are worse when it comes to 'customer service' broken CDs, late and slow mailings, etc. I can get 20 per month becoz I watch them and turnarounds are quick with the USPS here in Michigan area.
