I have to say that I like Johnny Depp as a person. He seems kind, a bit shy and reserved. It's funny cause I had this discussion with my gf the other day. In my opinion he just plays weird roles. I get that he's artistic and all but why do you always have to shun big roles? Some of those roles show depth too. Anyway, I liked him best in 21 Jump street. As far as movies, I only liked Donnie Brasco, Fear and loathing in Las Vegas and Who's eating Gilbert grape. As far as his other movies, they all seem to weird for me and I just can't get into them.

Benny and Joon and Ed Wood are my absolute favs. I liked Edward Scissorhands, too. In Don Juan De Marco he was soo romantic and in Public Enemies I liked seeing his charming side (as charming as a killer can be)

I'm not a big Tim Burton fan so I've missed those films and the Pirate flicks. I'm undecided about Alice in Wonderland, I've read some pretty bad reviews about it.

I'd love to see him do something that has nothing to do with death. I really enjoy his performances.
