Depends on where in the midwest you are. Talk to anyone who used to live in what once was Greensburg KS...

My vote goes to Phoenix, Godzilla would stomp out 5% of it before he dies of sunstroke--plus it takes well over 90 minutes to drive from 1 end of the city to the other. It would take Godzilla months to destroy Phoenix

How about the state of Texas? You would think it was a tidal wave as the monster comes up from the Gulf of Mexico and destroys Galveston. Then it would move on to Houston and take out the Galeria with a bunch of screaming shoppers. There could also be a shot of the monster going over Minute Maid Park, kicking in the Astrodome and playing with rockets at NASA. On to Dallas the monster could pick up the Reunion Tower and shake all the people inside like it was a snowglobe. Then it would go over to Fair Park and wrestle with Tex. In San Antonio it would throw the top of the Tower of the Americas like a frisbee and jump on the Riverwalk like it was a puddle. And in between the cities the monster could rampage through oil fields which would cause huge gushers and fires, I can see it on the movie poster. There would be all kinds of people in pick-ups shooting at the monster with shotguns. Maybe they would finally be able to stop the monster through some elaborate plan involving a BBQ sauce factory to make it slip and fall. I'd see that movie.

Compton, CA. It would be pretty cool seeing a bunch of 'hood rats battling monsters trying to move in on their turf. It could be a Crips vs. Bloods. vs. Monsters battle! They'd all end up bein' suckas!
