I enjoy the superhero flicks being produced, and some of the comedies are just OK, but I think Hollywood could do well with a few more relatively low budget bios.

I think there are a lot of people who have lived interesting lives. Here is one I would like to see a biographical movie made.

Interesting that the above post mentioned Denzel.

Because back in the 90's I thought someone should make a good movie about singer Sam Cooke, and thought Denzel looked enough like him to pull it off.

Also, going back to the 80's, I thought someone should have made a movie about Boris Karloff with Abe Vigoda playing the role.

I suspect the biggest reason there's never been a Sam Cooke biopic is because the way he died tainted his memory.

I'm sure there's one about Issac Newton, but I've yet to hear of it.

Um, who else? Terrence McKenna. Or, better yet, his brother.

I don't know that many interesting people. Sorry.

Greta Garbo. Probably the most elusive/mysterious Hollywood star ever. When she first arrived in Hollywood, she had crooked teeth, permed hair, and was considered overweight. But then the Hollywood star-making machine transformed her into this:

And then she eventually bowed out of the movie industry and became a recluse. She was also said to be a bisexual.

If Hollywood ever does make a movie about her life, I hope that the person who plays her will at least look like her. I hate it when the person in a biopic role looks nothing like the person they are playing (e.g., Denzel Washington as Malcom X).

Teddy Roosevelt. Boggles my mind there hasn't been a miniseries about him. I know there was a Rough Riders movie in the 90s but that's it. The guy's life is practically a frfranchise in itself.
