I think the results have been mixed on it. Zoolander was hilarious at the time, so they put Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller back together for Starsky and Hutch which turned out pretty good I guess.

Cameron Diaz and Jason Segal in Bad Teacher. Funny movie. Better than I thought it would be.
Then they were thrown back together fairly soon for something called "Sex Tape." 1-star/17% positive reviews. After seeing the trailer, there was NO WAY that I would have spent a red cent on seeing that.

Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore shined together in The Wedding Singer. Not so much in "Blended." 1-star with 14% positive. Saw it during an HBO free preview. Had it's funny moments but very "campy" storyline that has been recycled over and over.

Am I missing some examples?

No, I was referring to films that were in color, not black & white.

Don't forget "50 First Dates", which was ok. Loved "The Wedding Singer", never saw "Blended".

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.. They've been in..

Shawn of the Dead
Hot Fuzz
The World's End
Paul
Land of the Dead

And a few other movies together.. Most of them.. Home runs. The World's End was the weakest of the Cornetto trilogy.. But.. Still good.

Oh, and Spaced, of course.. But that was TV, not movies.
