At Walgreens earlier I finally decided to try RedBox. I'm not a huge fan of standing outside for a movie as the ones I see have the slowest people browsing the kiosk and IMO ain't nobody got time for that. I like to get my stuff and go.
I didn't know you could reserve movies online then pick them up but I can't find a clear as glass to a novice answer on how it works.
Right now it's 9:15pm. I have 3 movies in my cart right now waiting for me to hit pay and reserve. Am I to: 1. change out of pajamas and drive to the box now as the "rental time" starts the minute you purchase or is it the minute it leaves the kiosk and is in your possession. 2. If I get it after work tomorrow at 4pm would it need to be returned 5 hours later since I technically rented it on Thursday when I reserved it?
I'm not in the mood to watch anything right now so I want a Friday night, Saturday day movie then return.
It may seem easy but with it being so cheap there's gotta be some shady, read the fine print I'm missing. I'm assuming the shady is I'm reserving it now so it'll be due Friday at 9pm instead of Saturday at 9pm even though I technically don't have it yet.
No, it goes from when you pick up the movie, but you pay for it as soon as you reserve it. If you reserve a movie now, it has to be picked up before tomorrow at 9pm.
I've never done the resevered Redbox. I just rent them from the location and returned them in the exact location because it was the easiest location to do so.
